Principle	The IFCC method for Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) is a standardized, kinetic colorimetric assay measured at 405 nm and 37°C, utilizing 4-nitrophenylphosphate (4-NPP) as the substrate and 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol (AMP) as the buffer. It measures the rate of 4-nitrophenol formation, proportional to ALP activity, in serum or heparinized plasma.
